Unfamiliar mythological character to anchor Allu Arjun's movie

It is known that Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas are going to team up for a pan-Indian movie whose story is anchored in a mythological character. In his latest interview, producer S Naga Vamsi has talked a bit about the movie.

Speaking to Galatta Plus, Naga Vamsi said that it's a different sort of a mythological movie in the sense that an obscure mythological character is at its centre. Usually, mythologicals base their stories on well-known characters like Karna and divine entities like Rama/Krishna. Even Kalki 2898 AD, which was released last year and had a sci-fi dystopian anchor, had no obscure character as such. Ashwatthama, a Chiranjeevi in Hindu religion, is fairly known to many.

Going by Naga Vamsi's words, Trivikram has based his story on a little-known character. And the film is going to be out of the way.

This yet to be titled movie, to be produced by Haarika & Hassine Creations, will go on the floors in 2026. Allu Arjun will first wrap up director Atlee's movie, to be bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
