‘Dhanam’ starring Sangeetha in title role is going to be directed by G Shiva and produced by Addala Vankatrao and A Selvam under Lakshmi Vasanthi Productions banner. Ilayaraja is composing the tunes with lyrics by Chandra Bose, Vennelakanti, Sahiti, Vanamali and Ramajogayya Sastry. The unit has completed the songs recording recently. On this occasion producer Addala Venkatrao informed the media that the film was shot in Ramoji Film City, Charminar and some parts of Hyderabad. He conveyed thanks to RP Patnaik for rendering his voice to one of the songs in the film. Other songs were sung by ‘Simha’ fame Sravana Bhargavi, Roshini, Kaushik, etc. Kota Srinivas Rao, who is also playing a vital role in the film opined that the output of the film is extraordinary. The audio is set to release in this week-end and the movie by end of this month.
