Shriya Saran rescued the stray dog in Bhopal, where she was shooting for a Bollywood flick ‘Galli Galli Mein Chor Hein’. It is learnt that she noticed a puppy falling into the drainage pit while she was shooting for the film on a road. So she immediately pulled the dog up, cleaned it and took it to the animal doctor. Not stopping with that she named the puppy as ‘Turu’, took care of it as long as she was shooting in Bhopal and handed over to a local person who showed interest in taking care of the dog. This shows her inspiration in the field of social welfare.
