Shriya, the hot sizzling star once upon a time, is now finding it difficult to get an offer in Tollywood as well as Kollywood despite maintaining her hot looks. One cannot expect her to do the supportive characters like sister or sister-in-law as it is not her caliber. Hence the actress is now concentrating more on mass masala oriented films and also the ramp shows. Recently, she walked the ramp in a 5 star hotel in Chennai for a tempting amount. When asked about that, she replied, “Who would refuse the money when it’s coming. Silver screen, ramp and modeling are all part of glamour world. This is my profession and as far as I’m concerned all these three are the same. I do not want to loose my self-respect for getting the film offers. I will do only those films which I like to do.” When asked about item songs she said, “They are not new to me since I’ve done it before. If I like the song and situation I would definitely do it.”
Shriya has signed a Bengali film now for director Rituparno Ghosh. In this film she is going to be seen as a prostitute. Today being her birthday, Ragalahari wishes her a Happy Birthday and All the best for her future endeavors.
