In lines with Gabriela Bertante, Jyothi Rana also did a masala song in the just released ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’. She who sizzled alongside Ravi Teja in the film was all in praise for her director Puri Jagannadh. In her words, “I’m happy that Puri sir thought of me for this role. I feel great to work with him. It’s only because of him I’m here in Tollywood. He is a God for me. He is a darling, sweet-heart and a friend to me. He’s down-to-earth person, he’s very lovable and he’s too good. He gave me a big break in ‘Pokiri’. Even though I played a small character in it, people still remember. He was always a great director but he has improved a lot now. I’ve never met someone like Puri sir. I don’t know how to describe him. There are no words for it. He’s really sweet. He is such a great friend that I want to keep in touch with him whether I work with him in future or not.”
The model turned actress returned to Tollywood once again with Puri Jagannadh’s film after six years. Although she played a very small role in ‘Pokiri’, she still claims that she got a big break through ‘Pokiri’. On the other hand, Gabriela too praised Puri as a kind-hearted and an awesome human-being. This appears like both the ladies are trying to get their career on a steady track through Puri.
