Ananya Takur, Kiron and Kalyan starrer ‘Nisha’ has successfully completed the shooting part. The film is getting ready for release in February. Ramana Gaddam (NRI) is directing the film and J Dhanraj is producing it under Dasma Films Pvt Ltd banner with V George as its presenter.
Director Ramana Gaddam said, “I directed the movie ‘Real Story’ with Prakash Raj in male lead role 9 years ago and later settled in America. ‘Nisha’ deals with the present subject on rapes and murdes. I prepared this story 3 years ago based on the incidents occurred in lives of Prathyusha and Ayesha. So this is not the Delhi story but a story that happens in every street. Today we are seeing the situation where we are unable to give a police complaint when a girl is raped and if the complaint is given the victims are facing severe mental rape than the physical rape. Through this film I’m giving a message that the rapist should be punished by hanging. The Police is unable to answer what happened in Prathyusha and Ayesha’s case and what’s going to happen in Nirbhaya’s case. Goldy Pranay has provided music for 4 songs. Shooting has been completed and re-recording work is going on. The first copy will be ready within 3 days. We will release the film in February.”
