He is one of the world’s top musicians with two Oscar Awards, two Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe Award apart from winning several prestigious National and State Awards including the Padma Shri to his name. But A R Rahman was fulfilling the role of proud father, sharing special news in his life on his twitter page. He beamed with pride as he wrote about his daughter’s achievement. He wrote: “This is a first in the family... My daughter Khatija excels in studies and scores 94% in her 12th public exams.”
The talented young girl also sang the popular song ‘Pudhiya Manidha’ in Rajnikanth-Aishwarya Rai starrer ‘Enthiran’. A R Rahman and his wife Saira Bhanu has two daughters and a son. While Khatija is their elder daughter, Rahima is second and his son Ameen is the last among three.
