Nannaku Prematho has emerged the winner at the overseas box office for this Sankranthi season owing to the humongous collections and immense appreciation from audience as well as critics.
It doesn't come as a surprise that on Saturday alone, it grossed a whopping $385,403 and the final gross amount so far is $1,371,073. This is the first film of the year to rake in that collection in such a short time!
While the novel concept and engaging narrative are being talked about, there are other key elements which make this a film you shouldn't miss.
For instance, the Follow Follow song crooned by NTR himself proved to be a revelation. In times when songs are just add ons, director Sukumar uses this song in a clever way to take the narrative forward thus showing us his trademark style.
The song has the typical song and dance sequences and is yet in sync with the story. The song seems fun thanks to the quirky lyrics, curious choreography and even more importantly the stunning locales.
Devi Sri Prasad has given an amazing album for Nannaku Prematho with the title track tugging at your heartstrings. Even other tracks add value to the story making them seem totally in place and in tune to the story. Even the Aleba Aleba song which totally plays to the gallery makes for interesting viewing.
This film is the third million dollar film for CineGalaxy Inc. that earlier made inroads with Bhale Bhale Magadivoi and Manam.
