‘Dandupalyam 2’ has wrapped up 70% of the shooting part and the film unit is planning to bring the film to the audience in the month of September. We all know that Pooja Gandhi and Raghu Mukherjee starrer ‘Dandupayam’, which was made under Venkat Movies banner, has created sensation. ‘Dandupalyam 2’ is being made as the sequel to ‘Dandupalyam’ which was a hundred days film in Telugu and Kannada.
On this occasion, director Srinivas Raju said, “With the 40 days continuous shoot, the film has wrapped up 70% of the shooting part. The shooting took place in Bangalore and Belgaum (Belagavi). In this ‘Dandupalyam 2’ we are showcasing a real crime incident. The film will be very close to the reality. The film which is being made with an interesting topic, will impress everyone.”
“Key scenes of the film were shot at the specially designed prison set worth Rs 1 Crore in Bangalore. Pooja Gandhi and Raghu Mukherjee starrer ‘Dandupayam’, which was released in 2012 was a huge hit and ran hundred days both in Telugu and Kannada. Now the sequel is being made in Telugu and Kannada languages simultaneously. We are planning to wrap up the entire shooting part in June or July and the film is slated to release in the month of September,” said producer Venkat.
