This short feature is produced by common man Sathish, who has played the lead role as well. Short film was directed by common man sathish along with K P Selvah. Others in the cast include, Kavya, Karthik KP Selvah, Dass and Rahul who have performed an important characterization. The short story revolves around the concept of the problems faced by many foreign tourists while visiting India. Due to some miscreants causing problem to these tourists, the entire picture of India gets devastated for such behaviours. This film aims at clearing search doubts among the foreign visitors saying that India is a land of hospitality and congeniality.

The short film uploaded on Facebook has garnered 66Lakh views within 3 days from the time of uploading. The short film was made using natural light at a budget of just 3500 rupees. Apart from settees, Rekhs, E. Shanmugam, Dev Kalidas, Subu Siva, Anand, Vijayan, Parthi and Sathyan have been involved in the technical department of this movie.
Indian tourist holds special mention for making it till semi-finals of Los Angeles international Film Festival. Satish, who has directed this short film has already completed working on his short feature titled 'Nodikku Nodi'. This will be released on December 4, 2018 at Russian cultural center International Film Festival, which will be graced by leading film personalities.
