Lavanya Tripathi has participated in the Green India Challenge from Dehra Dun, her hometown in Uttarakhand. Since she is at her native place, the 'Arjun Suravaram' actress could get her friends on board to spread the cause of green drive. She was nominated by Nandini Reddy, the director of 'Oh Baby'.
"Thank you @nandureddyy for nominating me for this wonderful cause, and as they say “the more the merrier”.
I along with my brother asked these wonderful people to help us in this challenge and we together planted 50 trees (sic)," the 'Andala Rakshasi' actress tweeted.
She further nominated Ritu Varma, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Vennela Kishore, Saina Nehwal and Anitha Reddy
Reacting to her participation, Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar tweeted, "Seems you are on a spree of planting saplings along with your buddies @Itslavanya garu! Thank you so very much for doing the activity under #GreenIndiaChallenge. Please convey my heartfelt thanks to all your friends who participated along with you (sic)."
