'Shakeela', directed by Indrajeet Lankesh, will release in theatres on January 1. Starring Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, Esther Noranha and others, the film has got a ringing endorsement from Shakeela herself.
Esther Noranha said that she has done a nice Telugu film after a long time. "I am grateful that I got to play a role in such a nice film. Please do watch the movie without fail," she urged. Sandeep Malani said that he has been a great fan of Sridevi since he was 7. "I have worked on a lot of Telugu movies. I am happy that our film 'Shakeela' is coming out in Telugu. Doing this film has been a wonderful experience."
Music director Veer said, "I hail from Bidar. I have been associated with Hyderabad since long. I am happy to be here to promote 'Shakeela'. The songs have clicked with the audience."
Shakeela said, "I thank the producer and director for making this movie. The film will release on January 1. Usually, my films used to face a lot of obstacles from the CBFC. I can understand how hard it must have been for the makers of my biopic to secure a CBFC certificate. There is scope for cinematic liberty in the movie. See this biopic as an entertainer."
