On the occasion, his son and producer D Suresh Babu and others paid rich tributes. They hailed the founder of Suresh Productions as a pioneer in the world of Indian filmmaking. A statue was today unveiled by Suresh Babu, Film Nagar Housing Society Secretary Kaja Sathyanarayana, Suresh Kondeti (journalist and senior industry personality) and others in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that Ramanaidu had played a stellar role in building the film industry in Hyderabad. "It's fitting that a statue has been unveiled to pay a homage to the great personality," they added.
