Veteran actress Jaya Prada, one of the most popular personalities from the film industry, is said to be entering Tollywood after foraying into the world of politics.
As per reports, the actress is said to be starring in Nagarjuna Akkineni's upcoming film, Bangarraju. The makers of the film approached Jaya Prada to play a pivotal role, and she is said to have given a nod for their offer. However, there is no official word on this update yet.
Bangarraju is one of the most highly anticipated sequels in Tollywood. The film is slated to go on floors soon and it is expected to hit the screens next year.
The film will also be starring Naga Chaitanya in a key role. While Ramya Krishnan is playing the female lead, Annapurna Studios is backing this film. A sequel to the 2016 Soggade Chinni Nayana, Bangarraju will be directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala.
