Close on the heels of the release of 'Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku', ZEE5 is coming up with a web series. Presented by Tharun Bhascker of 'Pelli Choopulu' fame, this one is titled 'Room No. 54'.
ZEE5 has announced that the youthful comedy-drama will be streamed from May 21. Starring Moin, Krishna Prasad, Pawan Ramesh and Krishna Teja as friends, the series also features Swetha and Navya.
What is the web series, which runs into eight episodes, about? "It tells the story of four Engineering students who stay in a hostel. Their room has got a unique feature. Whoever stays in the room ends up developing a special bonding with someone from the subsequent batch. What kind of issues do the four guys living in the room face? How do they overcome them? That is the rest of the story," the makers say.
Tharun Bhascker has said that the series will remind people of their college days. "Memories related to college days are for a lifetime. At a time when we are cooped up at home due to the pandemic, our web series is going to keep you all engaged with an interesting story," he said.
Directed by Siddharth Gautham, the series is expected to entertain the viewers.
