'KGF 2' was released in theatres on April 14. It started streaming on Amazon Prime Monday evening (IST).
But there is a twist. You have to pay Rs 199 to rent it. The Yash-starrer has been released on Prime on a pay-per-view basis keeping in mind the huge craze surrounding it.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film is a bigger hit than 'RRR' on a pan-India level.
Amazon Prime is going to offer 'Acharya' from May 20 for no additional cost. Starring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, the film is directed by Koratala Siva.
ZEE5 is going to offer 'RRR' from May 20 on a pay-per-view basis. You have to pay something like Rs 200 (or less if you are subscribing ZEE5 for the first time) to watch it. 'RRR' is being offered as T-VOD content. The Video-on-Demand or pay-per-view model has been adopted by ZEE5 to maximize its revenue from 'RRR'.
