The overseas release rights of 'Waltair Veerayya', 'Veera Simha Reddy' and 'Varisu' ('Varasudu' in Telugu) are reportedly with Phars Films, the overseas distribution company. As per the latest buzz in the industry, Shloka Entertainments has acquired the USA release rights of the three big-ticket movies. Shloka recently released Akkineni Nagarjuna's 'The Ghost'.
Needless to say, these are among the biggest movie releases of 2023. Unless one of the three movies (either Chiranjeevi's movie or Balakrishna's movie) gets postponed or advanced, they are going to clash at the box office. As of now, officially, all three movies are going to hit the cinemas for Sankranthi 2023.
Chiru's movie is directed by Bobby Kolli. Ravi Teja has a key role in it. Balayya's movie is directed by Gopichand Malineni. Duniya Vijaykumar is its antagonist. 'Varasudu', directed by Vamsi Paidipally and starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead, is produced by Dil Raju.
