'Animal' is set to hit the cinemas on December 1 across the world in multiple Indian languages. In his latest interview, producer Pranay Reddy Vanga revealed that the film's budget runs into more than Rs 200 Cr. The production budget is about Rs 85 Cr and the rest forms other aspects, including publicity and interest costs. The film was shot in 100 working days.
Since the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer has been produced by Bhadrakali Pictures in association with T-Series, the latter has had a large say in commercial matters as a senior and bigger collaborator. T-Series is releasing the movie in Hindi on its own.
There is an indication that the recovery so far is about 60-70% of the total cost. Pranay Reddy hopes that the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial will mint at least Rs 350 Cr to 400 Cr at the box-office.
The film's Hindi version will have a celebrity preview in Mumbai on November 30. The Telugu version won't have a preview in Hyderabad because the police haven't given permission due to the election code in place.
