'Agent' was released in theatres on April 28, 2023. More than a year later, it has not been made available by any OTT platform. It is said that no streaming platform is ready to pay the amount sought by AK Entertainments. Director Surender Reddy reworked the movie on the edit table but even the new version didn't pass the quality checks with two streaming platforms.
As per a rumour, the film is soon going to be released on YouTube for free-of-cost viewing. Or, it has already arrived on some channel. Since the copy could be a pirated one, the name of the channel has been withheld.
Starring Akhil Akkineni in the lead, the film has Dino Morea as the chief antagonist. Sakshi Vaidya plays the heroine. After the failure of the movie, Akhil hasn't started shooting for another movie.
Hiphop Tamizha and Rasool Ellore, respectively, are the film's music director and cinematographer.
