'Agent', starring Akhil Akkineni as a spy and Mammootty in a crucial role, is fast completing its production works. The film is scheduled to be released in August and the makers are doing all that they can in order to honour the fast-approaching deadline. Producer Anil Sunkara and team are racing against the time.
The news is that the film's latest schedule is taking place in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. An action block is being shot under the aegis of action director Vijay. "The lead and a few other important cast members are participating in the schedule," director Surender Reddy said.
A working still in which the hero, the director, cinematographer Rasool Ellore and Vijay are seen together is out. "Grappling to strike hard," the makers said, plugging the working still. The action sequence has been described as fierce.
The film has Sakshi Vaidya as the heroine. With music by Hip Hop Tamizha, it has Mammootty in a key role. With the story by Vakkantham Vamsi, the film has cinematography by Ragul Herian Dharuman.
