'JSK', standing for Janaki v/s State of Kerala, is a courtroom drama starring heroine Anupama Parameswaran as Janaki. The promising film has senior Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi in the role of a lawyer.
The news is that the film, directed by Pravin Narayanan, will head to theatres in the month of February next year (2025).
Produced by J Phanindra Kumar under Cosmos Entertainments, the film draws upon a real-life legal battle. Baiju Sandosh, Madhav Suresh Gopi, Divya Pillai, and Askar Ali will be seen in different roles.
Renadive and Samjith Mohammed are its editor and cinematographer, respectively. Girish Narayanan is its music director. Currently in the filming stage, 'JSK' comes with the caption, 'Truth Shall Always Prevail'.
Anupama, known for Telugu hits like 'Premam' and 'Karthikeya 2', is also doing a Tamil-language film titled 'Dragon', among others. As for Suresh Gopi, he was elected a BJP MP from Kerala. He is the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and the Minister of Tourism. 'JSK' will be his first theatrical release in Telugu after he became a Minister.
