This New Year's Day, four movies are going to be released at the box office. And three of them are re-releases.
Chiranjeevi's Hitler, directed by Muthyala Subbaiah, is the first one. The 1997 movie, co-starring Rajendra Prasad, Rambha and others, was the remake of a Malayalam movie by the same name.
SS Rajamouli's Sye is another release on January 1, 2025. Starring Nithiin and Genelia in lead roles, the film barely broke even when it was released. The Rugby-based college campus story had music by MM Keeravani.
Oy, starring Siddharth and Shamili, will also be released on the day.
Marco, starring Unni Mukundan in the lead, is dubbed from Malayalam. The dubbed release is an action thriller meant only for the strong-hearted. Its gory violence might put you off.
