Unpopular opinion: Gopichand looks better than Ravi Teja

Both Ravi Teja and Gopichand have had terrible filmographies in the last one decade or so. They would be a match made in heaven in a parallel universe. Yes, Ravi Teja has delivered big hits in the form of 'Krack' and 'Dhamaka' but in terms of strike rate, his track record is terrible. So also Gopichand's.

However, purely judged in terms of looks and the ability not to look dull, Gopichand fares well. He looks better groomed and more natural in terms of his skin tone.

Just compare how the two heroes look in their most recent movies. In 'Mr. Bachchan', Ravi Teja looks as though the make-up artist and the cinematographer spent sleepless nights to make him look less old. Gopichand, on the other hand, doesn't look that old actually.

When Ravi Teja smiles or laughs in his films, he looks absolutely strained. This has severely dented his comedy timing. He has successfully ruined the comedy scenes in his movies instead of lifting them. Gopichand, who was nothing compared with Ravi Teja in the 2000s, doesn't annoy you.

Apparently, the age gap between the two actors is seven years. Probably, the Internet is lying about the age of either or both the actors. We wouldn't know. Also, Ravi Teja became a male lead much before Gopichand did. But then, comparisons are warranted because their target audience groups are similar. Both want to please the mass audience.

Looks wise, Gopichand is much better than Ravi Teja at present. This doesn't apply to their pasts, though.
