When Chuttamalle was released last year in August, it became an alluring chartbuster. The romantic song earned a fan base among music-lovers. Ed Sheeran, the globally renowned English singer-songwriter, is currently on tour in India. During his concert yesterday, he stunned the attendees in Bengaluru by performing the hit song from Jr NTR’s Devara. He had practised the song with the female playback singer, Shilpa Rao.
Jr NTR is happy that Anirudh Ravichander's music caught the attention of a foreign singer. The RRR actor took to social media to express his gratitude, sharing how touched he was by Sheeran's crooning of a song from his movie. “Music has no boundaries, and you proved it again, Ed! Hearing you sing Chuttamalle in Telugu is truly special,” Tarak wrote.
As Ed sang the romantic song, Shilpa Rao joined in with her vocals, and the duo effortlessly vibed together.
Chuttamalle, shot as a beach song on Jr NTR and his co-star, Janhvi Kapoor, contributed to Devara acquiring pre-release buzz.
