Recently, the Intelligence Bureau conducted a security audit and concluded that actor-politician Thalapathy Vijay must be given a round-the-clock 'Y' category security. Following the IB's recommendation, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs has accorded him the needful.
Vijay, who was seen in The GOAT last year, leads a new party he recently founded. Named the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), the party aims to come to power in 2026. As part of the latest security cover, Vijay will be protected by some Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. A team of eight personnel, including two commandos and additional police officers, will give him protection wherever required.
Vijay is currently doing Jana Nayagan, directed by H Vinoth. Apparently, this will be his last movie. While it was believed to be the remake of Bhagavanth Kesari, it seems to be an original script. It will head to theatres later this year.
