The Mumbai meet of Game Changer today was a dull one. Ram Charan, Dil Raju, SJ Suryah and distributor Anil Thadani, between them, couldn't say a single fact that could excite the audience. Kiara Advani was absent. Director Shankar's presence wouldn't have made any difference because he is a poor speaker anyways.
Dil Raju stated that the five songs in the movie cost him Rs 75 Cr. This wowed the anchor but the banal manner in which the fact was reeled off was a lost opportunity. Had Ram Charan chipped in with some information about the visual flavour of the songs, it would have been a headline-grabbing meet.
The speeches were listless. Ram Charan spoke of how much he has always adored Shankar. While Shankar is a genius, praising him for the most part of the speech must not have cut it for the Hindi audience. Distributor Anil Thadani filled his speech with "Thank Yous".
All eyes are now on today's Rajahmundry event. Pawan Kalyan is going to attend it. Hope the Deputy CM of AP says something headline-grabbing about the political subject of Game Changer. The film heads to theatres on January 10.
