Venkatesh stepped into the Telugu film industry with ‘Kaliyuga Paandavulu’, won the prestigious Nandi award in his first attempt and turned his sir name as ‘Victory’. Right from the beginning the actor never stuck up to a single image nor did films that belong to a particular genre. He chose to do films like ‘Swarnakamalam’ which has the pure Telugu fragrance, a mass entertainers like ‘Bobbili Raja’ that shook the box-office, a family entertainer like ‘Chanti’, an action cum adventure film lime ‘Kshana Kshanam’, youthful entertainers like ‘Prema’, ‘Preminchukundam Ra’, ‘Pellichesukondam’, ‘Kalisundaam Ra’, etc., comedy flicks like ‘Malleeswari’ and last but not the least a suspense thriller like ‘Nagavalli’. In this manner Venky completed 25 years of his film career successfully with 64 different films to his credit.
He says, "I would like to introduce many more beautiful heroines to the Telugu film industry like Divya Bharati, Tabu, Anjala Javeri, Preeti Zinta, Aarthi Agarwal, Shilpa Shetty and Katrina Kaif, do as many films as possible under K Raghavendra Rao’s direction, become ‘Brahmaputrudu’ in Dasari’s heart, impress the Bollywood audience as ‘Anari’, make my fans say ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachchav’ and continue as ‘Bodyguard’ forever. I sincerely thank my directors, producers, heroines and technicians who travelled along with me in my 25 years of film journey. Lastly I whole-heartedly thank my fans for supporting me in my every step of my film journey.”
