Children’s film ‘Appu - The Crazy Boy’ has been selected for 20th International Children’s Film Festival India in Children’s world section. The event will be held in Hyderabad between November 8 and 14. The story of the film is all about what happens when parents neglect the little wishes of their kids and what do kids in their tender age expect from their parents? ‘The Crazy Boy’ is the tagline.
Master Sai Srivanth has played the titular role. The film is produced by K Mohan under his own direction on Mohan Movie Makers banner. Jockey, Lohith Kumar, Pooja, Bindu, Jwala Chakravarthy and Dileep Rathod and some other are part of the cast. Interesting thing is that the script has been endorsed by the State Government.
Informing the news, director and producer of the film K Mohan said, “8-year-old Appu wants to see an elephant. But his parents didn’t find the time to fulfil his wish as they are too busy with their jobs. What Appu does makes the crux of the story. Sai Srivanth has given wonderful performance. It is a must watch film for not just children but also parents and everyone.”
The film also features child artists like Sumith Jashu, Sai Abhishek, Lasya, Manogna, Aada and Chiruhas and some others.
