Comedian Brahmanandam underwent a bypass heart surgery recently. He was operated in 15th January at a private hospital in Mumbai.
The actor suffered a stroke on Monday night and was rushed to a local hospital. After examining him it was suggested by the doctors there that he has to be shifted to Mumbai for surgery.
A family source informed that post surgery the actor was doing well. He is still in the ICU and his condition is stable.
Of late we have not seen him much in films as he is busy penning his autobiography.
