'Bootcut Balraju' is the title of Bigg Boss Telugu season 4 fame Sohel Ryan. The project was launched today in Hyderabad. Bekkem Venugopal of Lucky Media is bankrolling the film with Ananya Nagalla of 'Vakeel Saab' fame as the heroine.
Sharing the news on Twitter, an elated Sohel wrote, "Blessed to start our next with a bang. It was such a joyous and happiest grand launch of our next - 'Bootcut Balraju' today. The presence of my loved ones and well-wishers made the whole event even more special. Keep showering and continue to show your love..I will give me best (sic)."
The film's launch event today was graced by ace producer Dil Raju and star director Anil Ravipudi. Sri Koneti is wielding the megaphone. The producer said that the movie is an entertainer like his hit, 'Hushaaru'. The project has been planned for the past six months, he added. 'Bootcut Balraju' will be shot non-stop in January and February next year.
Since the backdrop of the movie is Telangana, Ananya was picked. Sohel said that the dialogues are going to be a highlight. Ananya said that the film is a family entertainer.
Smt. Indraja, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Anand Chakrapani, Jhansi, Jabardasth Rohini, and others are part of the cast. Music is by Bheems. Gokul Bharathi is the director of photography. Prawin Pudi is editing the movie.
