'Manchi Rojulochaie', which was released in theatres on November 4, has emerged as the winner of Diwali. Produced by UV Concepts and Mass Movie Makers, the Maruthi directorial has minted the required moolah for distributors and exhibitors.
It's learned that the Santosh Shoban-Ajay Ghosh-Mehreen movie has earned Rs 5 Cr in four days in terms of Share.
Maruthi is gung-ho about the response. Taking to Twitter, the filmmaker today said, "Thank you all for the response to a small attempt did in 27 days during the Covid break. The intention is to contribute something to theaters. Happy to personally witness smiles on your faces in theatres of #ManchiRojulochaie in Andhra tour (sic)." The team of the film recently toured a few towns in Andhra and spent time with the audience.
With music by Anup Rubens, 'Manchi Rojulochaie' is attracting the family audience, too.
