'Jai Bhajrangi', the Kannada-language film starring Dr. Shivrajkumar, will be dubbed in other languages such as Telugu. There are rumours that the visual extravaganza will skip theatres and release directly on OTT. The makers have scoffed at the rumour.
Producer Niranjan Pansari today clarified that 'Jai Bhajrangi' will release only in theatres first. Also featuring Bhavana Menon, Shruti, Saurav Lokesh and others, the film has music by Arjun Janya. Directed by A Harsha, it is presented by Sri Balaji Video. Titled 'Bhajrangi 2' in Kannada, the film is the second edition in the 'Bhajrangi' series. The first edition, released in 2013, was a blockbuster in Kannada.
T Prasanna Kumar of the Producers' Council today said that the trailer for 'Jai Bharajrangi' suggests that the movie has been made on a massive scale. He suggested that the film is in the same league as the likes of 'Baahubali' and 'KGF'. And it is going to be as thrilling as 'Arundhati', 'Chandramukhi' and other such movies.
The producer urged the audience to watch the 3-minute trailer on YouTube and watch the movie only if they like its content. Distributors Karunakar Reddy and Ramu, and Marketing Producer Balu, were also present.
With fights by Dr. Ravi Varma and Vikram Mor, the film has art direction by Ravi Shanthe.
