'Geetha' is an upcoming movie that is slated to hit the cinemas on Sept 9. Its audio was released today. Starring Hebah Patel of 'Kumari 21F' fame and Sunil in key roles, 'Geetha' also features Ram Karthik, Saptagiri, Rajeev Kanakala, Prudhviraj, Tanikella Bharani, Sandhya Janak, Surya, Lalitha, Priya, Meena Kumar and others. Directed by Viswa (who is VV Vinayak's protege), the film has music by Subhash Anand.
Speaking on the occasion, Hebah Patel said, "I have played a mute woman in the film. My friends and family advised me to do the role only if I can do justice to it. I took it up as a challenge. I thank the trainers who taught me sign language. It was not easy at all. I had to learn the dialogues and then emote them in sign language. So, it was double the work."
Sunil, who was recently seen in 'Darja' and 'Tees Maar Khan', said, "This is a content-driven movie. The audience always ask for such films always. Their wish has been answered. The main plot as well as the subplots are exciting in the film. I congratulate director Viswa. He is going to become a successful filmmaker as well as a director who is known for sensible movies. I am sure that 'Geetha' will be talked about even after five years, for it deals with a burning problem."
