The trailer for Sai Dharam Tej's 'Virupaksha' was unveiled in multiple languages on Tuesday ahead of the film's April 21st release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Producers BVSN Prasad and Sukumar (who is also the film's screenplay writer) hosted guests Allu Aravind and Dil Raju at the event.
Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts spoke of the tense situation and uncertainty when Sai Tej met with an unfortunate road accident in 2021. "He got treated, he recovered and is now back. With everyone saying that he has nailed it with his performance in 'Virupaksha', I am very happy," the guest said. He also hinted that Geetha Arts will be announcing a movie with Sai Tej later this year.
Speaking on the occasion, Dil Raju said that the 'Republic' actor faced only a minor reversal in 2021 when he met with a road accident. The supremo of Sri Venkateswara Creations exuded confidence that 'Virupaksha' will let Sai Tej make a thorough comeback. Calling the trailer fantastic, Raju said that he and Allu Aravind will always be there to support the actor. The producer of important films like 'Vaarisu' and 'Game Changer' revealed that he is Virupaksha's Nizam distributor.
Cinematographer Shamdat thanked the passionate team of the thriller and added that he was glad to have got to team up with the 'Prati Roju Pandage' actor on it.
Producer BVSN Prasad said that the film's teaser featured Young Tiger Jr NTR's voice, while Power Star Pawan Kalyan also promoted the movie. He thanked his guests on the occasion.
When it was his turn, the film's hero iterated that so much love and hard work have gone into making the film directed by newcomer Karthik Dandu. He thanked his mother for her constant support.
The trailer shows a love story between the characters played by Tej and Samyuktha. The latter gets possessed by a supernatural element. Sai Chand and Ajay have important roles.
