Megastar Chiranjeevi today took to social media to describe 'Salaar' as a "stupendous success". He raised a toast for Prabhas, Prashanth Neel and Hombale Films.
Saying that 'Salaar' has put the BO on fire, the 'Bholaa Shankar' actor extended his heartiest congratulations to 'Deva' Rebel Star Prabhas. The 'Acharya' actor appreciated Neel for excelling at world-building. It was an unstated reference to the Khansaar City, which is nothing like Padaghattam!
He referred to the characters played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, his 'Waltair Veerayya' co-star Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu - Varadaraja Mannar, Aadya and Kartha, respectively.
Chiru described music director Ravi Basrur, cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda and stunt master duo Anbarvi as a "fantastic crew". Finally, producer Vijay Kiragandur and Hombale Films came in for special mention.
'Salaar' was released in theatres to packed houses on Friday (December 22). As for Chiru, he will start shooting for his movie with director Vasissht Mallidi in early 2024. The same is produced by UV Creations.
