The trailer for the Sankranthi release 'Vaarasudu' throws enough hints about the nature of the conflict in the film. Srikanth and 'Kick' Shaam are siblings who live under the same roof. Sarathkumar and Jayasudha play their parents. When Suman wonders why the third son - played by Thalapathy Vijay - is not being spoken about, we are shown visuals of the hero living in a distant place.
When the villain (Prakash Raj) seeks to ruin the business family, Srikanth and Shaam develop differences. In comes the third son to set things right with his heroism and idealism.
The film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, has the story written in a fashion that will evoke emotions like familial love and loyalty. Hari and Ahishor Solomon join the director to write the story. With cinematography by Karthick Palani and music by Thaman, the film has Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine.
