'Chandramukhi 2' has been in the making for a long time. The film is supposed to hit the cinemas on September 15.
On Friday noon, Chennai-based media reports said that the horror thriller's theatrical release stands indefinitely postponement. In other words, the Raghava Lawrence-Kangana Ranaut movie won't be released in theatres for Ganesh Chaturthi.
This postponement comes just days after its trailer was launched. The trailer, to put it mildly, was a disaster. No wonder has been trolled badly.
And now, the makers have put off the film's release owing to incomplete CG works. Lyca Productions, despite being a giant production house, appears unprepared.
'Chandramukhi 2', directed by P Vasu, will lock its release date later depending on the completion of post-production. If it chooses September 28, it will clash with a few direct Telugu releases and might be in big trouble in case its content is poor.
