'Pushpa 2' has grossed Rs 1000 Cr at the box office. On Thursday, speaking at the film's press meet in New Delhi, Mythri Movie Makers and AA Films' Anil Thadani minced no words when they stated that they would like to see the film hit the Rs 2000 Cr mark. If that happens, it will be next only to 'Dangal'. Or, controversially, bigger than 'Dangal'.
The press meet was held in a northern Indian city for obvious reasons. The real craze for 'Pushpa 2' has been witnessed in the Hindi belt. And since New Delhi is closer to the cities where distributors/exhibitors live, the meet was held there.
On the occasion, Allu Arjun also showed some enthusiasm for 'Pushpa 3: The Rampage'.
'Pushpa 2' grossing Rs 2000 Cr will be an earth-shattering development. But will it? That's the question. Allu Arjun stated that he would like to see some other film outcompete 'Pushpa 2' very soon. He suggested that records are transient and are meant to be broken by someone else.
