Reports on Wednesday have claimed that cases are being filed against certain fans of actor Allu Arjun in Telangana. Following the arrest of Bunny last week, several social media handles with Bunny Display Pictures allegedly abused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The latest action by the police department is meant to target them, the reports have claimed.
But will the cases stand legal scrutiny? "One thing I didn’t understand. Normally, a show cause notice will be issued first and then necessary legal action will be mooted. But in this case, legal action has been started first. How far is this tenable under court of law?" wondered Sitaram Dhulipala.
At the time of writing, no information has been divulged by the police. If the media reports are accurate, the names of the persons against whom the cases have been registered should be made public.
Speculations are rife that legal work is going on in the background to ensure the arrest of Allu Arjun, who is currently out on interim bail.
