Director Parasuram Petla's 'Family Star', led by Vijay Deverakonda, will be released in theatres on April 5. Producers Dil Raju and Shirish unveiled its teaser earlier this month.
On Tuesday, the film's second song was released. 'Kalyani Vaccha Vacchaa' has been mounted as a lavish wedding song. Shot on Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, a few character artists and a hundred extras, the Gopi Sundar composition is a true-blue wedding number complete with the lyrics (written by Anantha Sriram) assuming a romantic tone.
Mangli's folksy voice is a bit unsettling at first, but the director's choice could turn out to be a surprise if the song becomes a hit. Male singer Karthik is joined by her.
Sri Venkateswara Creations has previously released the Gopi Sundar-composed 'Nandanandanaa', sung by Sid Sriram. The latest song, on the flip side, is not as wow as the first one.
