This is a view held by everyone who had expected Janhvi to have a meaty part in the Koratala Siva directorial.
A Hindi YouTuber lamented, "Janhvi promoted 'Devara' for 40 days for a 4-minute role." In a pre-release interview, Tarak, praising Janhvi, said that she had mouthed a two-page dialogue just like that. "Where the hell is that scene in the movie? In the entire running time of 'Devara', she hardly speaks four lines," an audience member said in a video review.
Sometime in the month of June, Janhvi Kapoor threw a hint about her character in the film. She said that her character will be fleshed out only in 'Devara 2'.
