Nandamuri Balakrishna's sci-fi movie Aditya 369 is considered a classic. Directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, the film is up for a grand re-release this Summer. The release date is yet to be made official.
Jandhyala's dialogues, Maestro Ilaiyaraaja's music, impeccable production values, extraordinary cinematography, awesome sets, authentic costumes, and an ensemble cast made Aditya 369 a phenomenon. Its re-release will be keenly awaited by movie buffs.
Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad on Sridevi Movies, Aditya 369 was presented by SP Balasubramaniam. "We have successfully digitalized this visual wonder using the latest technologies. Our banner is happy to bring it back on big screens this Summer," Prasad said.
The 4K version's release in theatres comes at a time when Balayya is planning Aditya 999 Max, a sequel. "I am not interested in doing sequels. Balakrishna garu was interested in Aditya 369 having a sequel. But I didn't want to make one and risk unfavourable comparisons," Krishna Prasad stated in an interview in 2023.
Sridevi Movies currently awaits the release of Sarangapani Jathakam, directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti and starring Priyadarshi in the lead.
