‘Dandakaranyam’ which is being directed and produced by R Narayana Murthy under Sneha Chitra banner, is presently at post-production stage. R Narayana Murthy, Trinadh, Prasad Reddy and Vikram are the lead cast of the film. The film unit has arranged press meet on Saturday, i.e. on November 28th to update the film’s details.
On this occasion, R Narayana Murthy spoke to the press on Saturday saying, “, “‘Dandakaranyam’ is coming as 28th film from our banner. Dandakaranyam has great popularity now and for ages. This forest has given shelter to Lord Rama and Seetha in Threthayugam and to Pandavas in Dwaparayugam. Now it is facing many problems. We are making ‘Dandakaranyam’ which deals with those issues. Forests should not be ruled by guns. I play the guy who fights for peace in a forest. People’s poets like Gaddar, Kasi Pathi and Jayaraj have provided lyrics to the songs. The film will have seven songs in all and out of those, 3 were sung by Gaddar, while remaining 4 were sung by Vandemataram Srinivas. We have shot the film in the surrounding areas of Vizag, Vijayanagaram, Bobbili, Araku, Palvancha, Rampachodavaram, Papikondalu, Chhattisgarh and Narsipatnam. Dubbing works have been completed and presently re-recording and final mixing works are in progress. We are planning to release the film in January.”
