Santosh Shoban's 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam' is heading to the theatres on January 14. At today's presser, the actor looked poised to deliver a box-office hit this Sankranthi.
After duly talking about the Sankranthi timing, the actor said that UV Creations has been greatly supportive. He also attributed the creative quality of 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam' to debutant director Anil Kumar Aalla.
The 'Manchi Rojulochaie' actor revealed that he was not the first choice for the lead role. However, Priya Bhavani Shankar was the first choice for the female lead's role. He mentioned cinematographer Karthik Gattamaneni and music director Shravan Bharadwaj in his speech.
Actor Devi Prasad, who played the heroine's father, said that the movie is slice of life. "This is the kind of film you would want to watch with your family this Sankranthi. The cinematography and the songs are so good," he added.
Director Anil said that his movie holds many life lessons and advertised the film's story, screenplay and characterizations.
Priya Bhavani said that her onscreen character bears a resemblance to her real self.
