'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam', which hit the cinemas on January 14, stars Santosh Shoban and Priya Bhavani Shankar. In a statement, UV Concepts said that the family audience are finding its content relevant and enjoyable.
"Be it the lead performance or some pivotal scenes, they are appealing to the family audience. Director Anil Kumar Aalla, who has also written the movie, made the film emotional and rooted," the makers said.
In a pre-release interview, the 'Ek Mini Katha' actor said that the film is non-gimmicky. The audience, say the makers, are in agreement with his assessment.
Be it the film's theme or technical finesse, everything is working in its favour. "A good relationship drama needs to show plausibility, measured dialogues and nice music. Our movie has got all of them," the makers said.
The film's music has been done by Shravan Bharadwaj.
