A grand event to celebrate the release of 'Kanguva' on November 14 was held in Vizag on Sunday.
Chodavaram MLA Ghanta Srinivasa Rao was among those who graced the public event. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “I have friends in the Telugu film industry who speak highly of Surya. As a hero, father, and brother, he is an ideal for many. After watching a scene from Kanguva, I believe this movie will be a major hit."
Actor Sundeep Kishan, describing himself as a Suriya fan, spoke of the actor's fitness levels and dedication to his craft.
Producer Gnanavel Raja was visibly grateful to the Telugu audience for all the love showered upon Suriya and 'Kanguva'. He made a mention of SS Rajamouli, whose filmography and visionary imagination serves as an inspiration to 'Kanguva'.
Director 'Siruthai' Siva reminded the audience of the epic nature of 'Kanguva'. Studio Green and UV Creations were more than proud to make an ambitious film with Suriya as the hero.
Suriya's speech was more intimate. "Vizag has a special place in my heart, and I am thrilled to continue our legacy here. The thousands of women in our unit deserve immense credit for their incredible sacrifices. I am blessed to have such wonderful friends in the Telugu film industry. 'Kanguva' isn't just a film; it's a labor of love," he said, adding that the entire unit has poured their hearts and souls into the movie.
Screen-writer Madhan Karky recently gave a glowing review of the movie. "I have seen each scene more than a hundred times during the dubbing process, yet the impact of the movie grows with every viewing. The grandeur of the visuals, the intricate detailing of the art, the depth of the story, and the majesty of the music all combine with a powerhouse performance by Suriya sir, making this one of the finest pieces of art created," the writer wrote recently.
