'Vettaiyan' is Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie. Lyca Productions today announced its release date. Mark the date: October 10 it is.
On the same date, Suriya-starrer 'Kanguva', too, is going to be released in theatres.
If 'Kanguva' is an epic saga with war episodes as the biggest highlight, 'Vettaiyan' has Rajinikanth's brand as its USP; the superstar will be seen as a super-cop in the movie. Amitabh Bachchan of the recent 'Kalki 2898 AD' has a role in Rajini's movie. 'Vettaiyan' will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada simultaneously.
Lyca Productions recently delivered a disaster in the form of 'Indian 2'. It also awaits the release of Ajith Kumar's 'Vidaa Muyarchi', Prithviraj Sukumaran's 'L2: Empuraan' (Malayalam) and 'Indian 3'.
