Sameera Khan, who is a mountaineer from Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur, comes from a financially not-so-rich family. She has already scaled seven peaks in Nepal and Ladakh over many years. Despite the pandemic, the ambitious girl has displayed a never-say-die spirit.
In her latest interview, Sameera has said that her blood boils when people say that women shouldn't have so-called impossible goals. The hardworking girl, who believes in determination and self-confidence, says that nothing can deter her from realizing her dream of conquering Mt. Everest.
So far, she has travelled 25 countries, besides scaling a 7,000-mt mountain in the Himalayas. She wants to complete her Everest expedition and, towards the same, she is looking for sponsorship to the tune of Rs 40 lakh. The young lady said that she is ready to take the plunge if she receives adequate funds.
Sameera is expecting film personalities to help her in creating history. It's also her dream to set up a world-class training institute someday.
