Brahma Anandam, starring Brahmanandam, Raja Goutham and Vennela Kishore in lead roles, will head to theatres on February 14. Its Teaser launch event has been held.
Speaking on the occasion, Brahmanandam said, "Producer Rahul Yadav is the main pillar of this project. He has delivered three hits (Malli Raava, Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya, Masooda) in a row. Director RVS Nikhil told me he wouldn't be making this script into a movie without me. I knew I would be playing the role of a grandfather. But I was shocked when Nikhil told me my son would be playing the grandson's role. Sandilya Pisapati's music has been tailor-made for different emotions and segments in the movie. Vennela Kishore's performance is so rib-tickling that it feels he is continuing my comical legacy. I am proud of him especially because he once directed me (Jaffa, the movie). Rajeev Kanakala, Tanikella Bharani, Raghu Babu and Sampath Raj have played different roles, giving their best shot. Drama full of twists happened behind making the project. The drama is so dramatic that a film could be made out of it."
Vennela Kishore said, "I thank Rahul Yadav and Nikhil for giving this role. Brahmanandam garu is a God of Comedy. Doing a film named after such a personality itself is special. Doing this film felt like a holiday. It was like a casual conversation between us off-screen. If you like my comedy in this film, the entire credit would go to the producer-director duo. With Dookudu, all my wishes got fulfilled. Raja Goutham inspires me to be a better person in terms of behaviour. He, along with Raja Ravindran, are humans I look up to. I would be happy to be a quarter of what Goutham is. Priya Vadlamani is a beautiful person inside out. Aishwarya Holakkal is a single-take artist. Legendary Brahmanandam garu is the textbook for all comedians. We learned everything from him. We just mimic his expressions and make our livelihood. I have known him personally and have the freedom to speak to him anytime. I can't ask for more."
Raja Goutham said, "The last shot of the Teaser tells you how special this movie is to me. Acting with my father will always be special. My father and Vennela Kishore are my comfort persons. I thank my producer-director duo for trusting my abilities.
Director RVS Nikhil said, "Without my parents' support, I wouldn't be here. Producer Rahul Yadav entering my life changed everything. It was a stroke of luck."
