Ram’s ‘Kandireega’ was released on August 12th and is running successfully with positive talk in all centres in India and abroad. On this occasion Ram spoke to the media on Monday and shared his happiness.
Ram said, “Going by the response from the public it appears that the film will be a super hit one. After ‘Rama Rama Krishna Krishna’ I took a long gap which is not a positive sign. Many have even advised that if I take such long gaps there are chances for people to forget me but still I was confident about myself since I do every film with complete love and satisfaction. I also feel that one should not compromise in anything while doing films and if something like that arises, it’s better to leave that project instead of doing it with unhappy mind. After ‘Jagadam’, it’s ‘Kandireega’ that I watched in theater on the first day.” When asked that ‘Kandireega’ has few elements that are similar to his previous films, he answered saying that the ‘C’ centre people are going crazy about this film. They are enjoying every bit of the film. Even if some elements got repeated from my previous films, the end result is important.
When one of the media spokespersons asked that his performance appeared like he is imitating Ravi Teja, he quickly said, “I did not imitate anyone. Yet I take it as a compliment when someone is seeing their hero in me. Mahesh Babu and NTR watched this film, called me on phone and appreciated. A few of Hindi directors have already eyed on ‘Kandireega’ to remake it in Hindi. I’m actually delaying in doing films only due to lack of good stories. I’m ready to do even five films at a time provided those stories impress me.”
